Tampa Bay Lightning
Honestly, what can we say about Steve Yzerman's first season as a general manager? He made all the right decisions for the team after his hiring. He made some pretty good trades. He re-signed the right players.
Tampa became a team to be taken seriously again. And seriously no one took them. Until they took the Penguins to seven games after being on the brink of elimination again and again. And then they ran the train on the Capitals and almost took out the Bruins.
This success wasn't all the work of Yzerman although we like to believe it was. He also hired the right coach in Guy Boucher. We were upset that Rock Tocchet was fired but it happens, right? And it seems that it was the right choice.
Good for you, Mr. Yzerman. We knew that whatever team he took over would be changed for the better. He was the vice president of the Red Wings under Ken Holland so he definitely learned how to do it right.
And the Lightning only have to build this coming season on what they've already accomplished. Good things are coming their way we think.

Hotness level - 6
This one was hard for us because we feel that the Lightning hotness is mediocre at best. Doesn't mean it's bad, just means that they're average looking in the looks department. We think that Hedman is an attractive fellow, as is Ryan Malone and Vincent Lecavalier. What will help the Bolts in hotness is if Dustin Tokarski ever makes the club. Yes, please.
