Last Night Was Highlight Night

First, Tyler Ennis pulls off this move

which uh, holy shit, now that's a goal.

Then Gabriel Landeskog, who is playing with the flu, scores the OT game-winner against the Ducks

and pulls this move. We love this celebration. More players should play sick, score the OT winner and then faint.

And then rookie Craig Smith had this breakaway

the moves, the drag, the hands...who knew?

And in Other News:

- The Blackhawks signed Daniel Carcillo to a two-year contract extension even if he's done for the season. Apparently he's a great locker room guy and who are we to argue with that?

- The Blue signed Jaden Schwartz to an entry-level contract. Oh great, the Blues are getting another great, young player. The Central division is scary, even if Columbus is in it.

- Sidney Crosby will be in the Penguins lineup tomorrow when they take on the New York Rangers.

Yeah, this is pretty much what we're doing right now.

- Tyler Myers scored the OT winner for the Sabres but he also hit Scott Gomez and will be having a hearing today because of it.

- In the Sean Avery Saga, apparently he is retiring after this season ends. Um, okay. It's probably a media ploy but we'll take the bait anyway. Curtis had this to say about Avery, "I am excited to follow his post-hockey endeavors" because she's always had a thing for the shit-disturbers."

- In the Ducks/Avs game last night, Teemu Selanne passed Jari Kurri to take the 19th place in the NHL's all-time scoring list.

- Apparently the Lightning's slim playoff hopes are being pinned on Dustin Tokarski. Poor kid. With injuries to almost everyone on the team except Stamkos, we kind of see why.

- There's talk that paperwork is being filed about a return to the NHL for Alex Radulov. Interesting and a huge boon for the Predators if he can contribute to the offense in Nashville.
